Over the years Coastal Safety provided safety cover at the following events:
- Waterfest – Weymouth Harbour, England
- International Festival of the Sea – Bristol, England
- International Festival of the Sea – Portsmouth, England
- Tall Ships Race – Portsmouth, England
- International Festival of the Sea, Newport, Wales
- Devizes to Westminster Canoe Race, London, England
Recognising that internationally accepted qualifications were required , Coastal Safety quickly became a Royal Yachting Association training centre, this was granted in November 1996.
In 2003, Coastal Safety started running training courses in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and so Coastal Sea School ME was formed.
